Not goodbye, but see you later

    We are closing the Studio.

TLDR; After doing all the math, looking at market projections, and closely examining sustainability, we have decided to close our physical location in Downtown Laramie.  Our final day of operations will be March 20. If you registered for an event after March 20, look for an email with more information. Thank you for supporting this grand experiment!

    Thinking about what’s next

First, THANK YOU for supporting this project. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to teach your children, make something with you, or support your organization through the Studio. Thanks for being a part of that dream!

    Now for the details

After running all the numbers and thoughtfully considering the current market climate and sustainability of our model, we’ve chosen to close our physical Studio. This was a very difficult decision and honestly, not the outcome I was hoping for. I am so thankful for the chance to pursue this dream, all the beautiful work that came from our students, and the wonderful connections made in our Studio.

Our last class will be Thursday, March 12 before closing up shop on Friday, March 20. Wildcraft classes will not be held over Spring Break; however, I do hope to host a few pop-up Open Studios over the break. To be determined!

If you have already registered for an event scheduled for March 23-April 11, your refund will on its way by the end of the week. You will be notified by email.

Closing Up Shop Sales: We will be hosting a few sales through April to close out some of our materials, supplies, and furniture. Keep an eye on our website, this newsletter, and socials for more info!

What’s next? To be honest, I’m not sure. While I shift into full-time assist teaching in town, I’m not sure what the full picture will be for the Studio going into the future. I still wholeheartedly believe in making good in the world, but how that plays out, I’m not sure.

Lastly, I really mean it when I say I’m so thankful for you — friend, supporter, parent, student, partner, or friend. It really has been “our studio” from the very beginning, and I’m so grateful for the community this space created.

    See you around 💜
