Frequently Asked Questions

Is Wildcraft an after school program?

Short answer: no. Wildcraft is not an after school program like you’d find at your child’s elementary school or day care. Wildcraft is a series of art classes held in the late afternoon at the Studio. We are not a licensed child care facility, which may impact your family in different ways. Please refer to our Studio Program Policies for more specific information, including policies around behavior, sickness, and safety.

When are Wildcraft classes?

Wildcraft art classes take place at 3:30pm to 5:15pm on most school days. Children can be dropped off no earlier than 3:15pm and must be picked up by 5:30pm. Late pick-up fees apply after 5:30pm. See our Studio Program Policies for more details.

Do you provide transportation from my child’s school to the Studio?

No, we do not provide transportation to or from the Studio for attendees. Caregivers must provide transportation for their child. Attendees must be signed in and out of class each day; no curb drop-offs are permitted.

Are there Wildcraft classes on half days or days off school?

Yes! We plan to have Wildcraft Camps for half days and school breaks starting in Fall 2025. These half-day sessions will be individually ticketed and are not included in Monthly Memberships. Monthly Members do get a 15% discount on all Half Day and School Break Camp registrations!

Can I stay at the Studio during my child’s art class?

Yes! Parents and caregivers are more than welcome to stick around during a Wildcraft class, have a coffee, and use our wi-fi. We ask you provide space for your child to create and explore during class (and take a break for yourself!).

What does my child need to bring to class?

All attendees should bring a water bottle and an optional afternoon snack for each class. We provide time for attendees to eat their snack during our story time at the beginning of each class. Attendees are expected to eat their own food; sharing snacks is not allowed due to safety.

Children should also wear clothes they could get messy in. We have aprons for use at the Studio, but process art can be messy!
